Rochester Art Gallery
Brief info
Rochester Art Gallery features a changing programme of exciting contemporary visual art, holding four exhibitions a year which showcase the work of emerging and established artists from both Medway and beyond. Recent shows have included textiles, photography, printmaking and painting.
The gallery has been a key partner in Medway Print Festival since it began and devise annual print exhibitions as part of the MPF programme, working closely with local print studios including INTRA and Hazelnut Press.
In 2020 the gallery held its first Print Open Call for Dickens 150. Previous printmaking exhibitions include shows by Medway Fine Printmakers and London Print Studio, as well as shows by Emma Stibbon RA, Billy Childish, Neil Bottle, Shelly Goldsmith and Wendy Daws as well as a host of other talented local and regional makers.
Rochester Art Gallery is funded and supported by Medway Council through the Arts Development Team.

Opening hours Tue-Sat 10am – 5pm
The gallery is on the ground floor and is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
